HELLO,

My name is Jade Thompson, I am the head Swim Instructor and the Swim Lessons Manager at the Boys and Girls Club of Rancho San Dieguito. In addition to managing lessons there, I will be offering my own personal lessons to the public. My lesson types are privates (1:1 ratio), Semi-Privates (1:2 ratio), Junior Lifeguard Preparation (1:1-2). I am an American Red Cross Certified lifeguard and can be scheduled to lifeguard private events. I provide all of my own equipment. I am currently a registered lifeguard for the San Diego County Girl Scouts

About me: I will be turning 20 years old in the Summer of 2022. I am the oldest of three siblings and I have a younger brother with Autism and epilepsy and a younger sister with epilepsy. I have always been water sports oriented, I enjoy swimming and surfing in the ocean and doing my own workouts at the pool. I really enjoy working with children of all ages and it brings me joy to watch them grow, improve their swimming skills and having fun!

I have a fascination in studying Neuroscience because of the experiences I've grown up with. I graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 2020. I will be graduating from Mira Costa Community College in Summer 2022 with dual AA Degrees in Social and Behavioral Sciences as well as my Transfer degree in Psychology. I’m hoping to continue my studies in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience at University of California San Diego next fall.
